The 43rd DayzUnderground Territory & POI Map – March/April 2025
Some of our varied factions and groups that met the faction requirements to be recognized as official DUG factions, claim territories and have built points of interest for other survivors. Every two months, members can claim their territory or POI through the private DUG forum and share it with others if it’s substantiated. Here is the current map that will guide you across the server. You can also find it in the in-game tourist maps and stands.
Compared to the last map posted on our website, there are minor changes in territory and again we have new (and old) groups appearing on the map. Thank you all for your unique additions to the DUG community!
Featured Groups & Factions
Please keep in mind that all of these territories and groups represent real people, there are no NPC’s. You will probably not always find everyone just as you pass by or find that a POI was torn down. These territories often just show you where these groups are based or have ties with through their stories and lore. Do not expect to find everyone loitering and waiting for you just as you might happen to pass by.
Many more groups and official factions currently don’t claim territory and while active in-game, are not featured on the map.
Black Sheep – An official faction that helps survivors that pass through Guglovo, and are quick to defend their town against aggressors.
Dark As Midnight – An official faction focused on keeping what’s left of the world in anarchy and doing whatever is necessary to protect their haven of Gorka and the surrounding area.
Golden Peppers – Beginning as a guild for hire, they eventually found more to life through a shared kinship of seeking out the good in others. As time and conflicts wore on, they were forced to take refuge in the Pavlovo Military Gas Zone; recoiling from the world and its ceaseless despair. Some say this changed them, becoming more isolationist and caustic in nature; developing an obsession with the tranquility that the gas zone provides. While they shirk off such rumors, their suspicion of outsiders and their will is obvious.
Outrider Caravan Company – They establish contracts with other factions and groups, moving shipments of specified goods between groups. When not moving goods through their network you can usually find them at their trading post in the Northwest.
The Overlook – The Overlook is a standing testament to the Community residing in Chernarus. Many years ago, The Samaritan created the Overlook with a vision to help the people in need. The providers of the Overlook, mainly farmers, hunters, and gatherers help survivors through various donations such as food, clothing, and supplies of all sorts. They value neutrality in politics and aim to limit their involvement in other groups or factions’ businesses.
The Fireflies – This official faction delivers justice to the bandits and cutthroats of Chernarus while providing aid to survivors. They believe in the values and morals of the old world, aiming to be a beacon of hope in a land of despair. The Fireflies are determined to restore civilization and build a fair and just society.
Blackthorn Gang – The Blackthorn Gang, named after its fierce leader Alastor Blackthorn, is on a mission to assert dominance in the land of Chernarus. Their approach involves a combination of violence and adherence to a strict code. Comprised of like-minded individuals capable of holding their own in a fight and willing to go to any lengths to establish supremacy in this unforgiving world.
The Dark Carnival – A band of strange and psychotic clowns just trying to get by and have a good time at the End of Days. Busting knees, and having wonderful cookouts. They view order/society as the downfall of man and seek to rewrite the world using fear.
Eclipse – A tight-knit band of warriors and brothers bound in sacred oaths and blood. Seeing themselves as the savior of humanity, they challenge anyone in their territory to see if they are worthy.
Rise Against – A group of hardened survivors who work as mercenaries for the highest bidder, with their work varying from virtuous and honorable to heinous and despicable.
Odyssey – They believe the North should stand for something; it should be representative of ideals larger than ourselves. Our goal is to create and preserve a benevolent atmosphere in the Central-North region, as well as help prop up other friendly communities around Chernarus.
The Woodsmen – They pride themselves on honor and discipline. They believe that your most valuable asset in this new world is your word and the trust gained from friends and allies. Woodsmen protect and serve the community along the southern coast, specifically from Chernogorsk to the eastern edge of Electro.
Merry Men – Liberty, community, and prosperity; these are what the Merry Men value above all else. They strive to provide a sense of security for travelers and residents of the NE. They accomplish this by sustaining a battle-ready community defense, capable fighters, and nurturing positive relationships through diplomatic engagement.
Black Mountain Rangers – a cohesive group of seasoned survivors who prioritize information, discretion, and strategic dominance. Driven by an unyielding pursuit of survival, they make calculated—and sometimes ruthless—decisions that blur the line between right and wrong. With motives shrouded in secrecy, they will stop at nothing to achieve their enigmatic objectives, shaping the wasteland’s fate as they see fit.
Men Of The North – a bunch of friendly individuals who, if you are sick, starving, or just in need, will try to help you in any way they can, offering trade or a home for weary travelers.

You can also find the map in-game at all tourist trail map stands.
Points of Interest
POIs are player-built locations that offer interesting meeting points or areas that are significant in the stories of people. They can be anything from bases that will be defended to open gathering places and trading posts. Some of those are excellent locations if you’re looking for player interactions! Though keep in mind, that everyone is responsible for their own security.
The Overlook – Located in the southeastern town of Staroye, the Overlook is a compound built around a barn on the hillside next to the main road.
Tristan’s Pond – Named after Provider Tristan of The Overlook who once won a hunting and fishing derby by solely gathering his fish from this pond.
Gorka – Home of Dark as Midnight. Find any map in the game and it will tell you all you need to know – STAY OUT!
The Guglovo – A base made by the Black Sheep faction on DUG that acts as a stopping point for people moving across the map looking for food or aid.
Kumyrna – A destroyed church that has been rebuilt and turned into a camp for survivors.
Castle Blackthorn – A forward outpost used by Blackthorn Gang
Lollipop Tower – Home of The Dark Carnival and some of their hilariously sinister shenanigans.
Happy Pond – This pond is used by The Dark Carnival to gather resources and torture their friends.
The Bog – Situated north of Zvir The Revenants have found solace in a part of the river that has been backed up by an old dam. Strangers to the area have reported feeling a strong sense of dread and the feeling of being watched when alone there. While supplies, food, and other necessities for survival can be found there and are freely given you could be subjected to questioning and searched. Those who have stopped to fish there have reported seeing faces in the depths but these are merely rumors. If you wish to speak to The Revanants a message board can be found there. However, lingering in the area is not suggested.
Saint Joseph’s – A church-like refuge made out of a barn in Cernaya Polana. This stopping point in the northeastern part of the map is run by survivors who provide food, supplies, and stories of old to those passing through.
Woodsmen Embassy – Located under the yellow crane near the southern docks of Prigorodki. At The Embassy you can gather some basic supplies to help you get on your way as well as some up-to-date info on the community and what to look out for on your travels.
House of Hope – A community camp nestled atop the hill where the Klyuch ruins lay. The House of Hope prides itself on being a place where people of all alignments can get fed and interact with other survivors.
ORCC Trade Post – The main trading post/hub for the Outrider Caravan Company.
Waldorf’s Gun Emporium – Be sure not to stay on his lawn for long! Waldorf wants a gun for every man’s hand. This includes you!
Last Light Keep – The headquarters for Eclipse this old world prison acts as the source of housing, training, and information gathering for Eclipse. Entry is often restricted to outsiders but those who’ve been inside report harsh physical training and religious teachings
Mama’s Mackerels – A fishing camp run by The Gray Manes, a neutral group based out of Berezhki, focused on survival, trade, and community. Along with running Mama’s Mackerels, they offer aid to travelers, forge strong alliances, and fight to protect the Northeast from growing threats.
Heartland Saloon – a community site, run by Earnheart of the Black Mountain Rangers, located in the heart of Krasnostav.
The Map-Making Process and How to Be Included
Every two months, community members come together to create a new territory map that shows the home turfs and points of interest of some of our groups and factions.
The process is quite simple, a thread is posted in our private member forum and any groups or collectives can claim territory or share their points of interest. The map team then votes on those claims based on requirements such as the number of group members, their in-game and forum activity, and what they add to the community and experience of other players.
Do you want to see your group or point of interest featured on the map? Show something unique, get involved with other players, and join the community if you haven’t yet! Introduce your group through the forum and then later claim your territory in the next iteration.
We want to again thank everyone involved in this community-created map, Integrity (FL Joe) for creating this generation as well as all players who are represented on it and adding more unique aspects to DUG!
