The 48th DayzUnderground Territory & POI Map – June 2026

dayz underground territory map june 2026

Some of our varied factions and groups that met the faction requirements to be recognized as official DUG factions, claim territories, and have built points of interest for other survivors. Every two months, members can claim their territory or POI through the private DUG forum and share it with others if it’s substantiated. Here is the current map that will guide you across the server. You can also find it in the in-game tourist maps and stands.

Thank you all for your unique additions to the DUG community!

Featured Groups & Factions

Please keep in mind that all of these territories and groups represent real people; there are no NPCs. You will probably not always find everyone just as you pass by or find that a POI was torn down. These territories often just show you where these groups are based or have ties with through their stories and lore. Do not expect to find everyone loitering and waiting for you just as you might happen to pass by.

Many more groups and official factions currently don’t claim territory, and while active in-game, are not featured on the map.

Black Sheep – An official faction that helps survivors who pass through Guglovo, and are quick to defend their town against aggressors.

Blackthorn Gang – The Blackthorn Gang, named after its fierce leader Alastor Blackthorn, is on a mission to assert dominance in the land of Chernarus. Their approach involves a combination of violence and adherence to a strict code. Comprised of like-minded individuals capable of holding their own in a fight and willing to go to any lengths to establish supremacy in this unforgiving world.

Dark As Midnight – An official group focused on keeping what’s left of the world in anarchy and doing whatever is necessary to protect their haven of Gorka and the surrounding area.

East Side Traders – East Side Traders value commerce as a top priority; not only by operating a trading post and traveling to the far reaches of the lands to conduct trades, but also supporting other trading operations through fair and friendly competition. They hold a high belief that the free travel of goods and the ability to purchase what survivors need to survive and thrive will make the world a better and safer place.

Free Town of Kamensk – A lawful and democratic town, dedicated to rebuilding civilization from the ground up, where citizens vote on laws and foreign policies.

Golden Peppers – Beginning as a guild for hire, they eventually found more to life through a shared kinship of seeking out the good in others. As time and conflicts wore on, they were forced to take refuge in the Pavlovo Military Gas Zone; recoiling from the world and its ceaseless despair. Some say this changed them, becoming more isolationist and caustic in nature; developing an obsession with the tranquility that the gas zone provides. While they shirk off such rumors, their suspicion of outsiders and their will is obvious.

Legionaires – A political movement attempting to restore order in South Zagoria by using force, or managing alliances. The legionaries reject the old world views of democracy and communism, attempting to create a new path for Chernarus.

Merry Men – Liberty, community, and prosperity; these are what the Merry Men value above all else. They strive to provide a sense of security for travelers and residents of the NE. They accomplish this by sustaining a battle-ready community defense, capable fighters, and nurturing positive relationships through diplomatic engagement.

Oathbound – Oathbound is a group created to endure. Bound by the Oath, its members place their survival above all else. The well being of the group, the security of their home, and the preservation of their way of life take precedence over the concerns of outsiders.

Outrider Caravan Company – They establish contracts with other factions and groups, moving shipments of specified goods between groups. When not moving goods through their network you can usually find them at their trading post in the Northwest.

The Dark Carnival – A band of strange and psychotic clowns just trying to get by and have a good time at the End of Days. Busting knees, and having wonderful cookouts. They view order/society as the downfall of man and seek to rewrite the world using fear.

The Fireflies – This official faction delivers justice to the bandits and cutthroats of Chernarus while providing aid to survivors. They believe in the values and morals of the old world, aiming to be a beacon of hope in a land of despair. The Fireflies are determined to restore civilization and build a fair and just society.

The Honest Coin – A group of individuals who came together after years travelling alone. We help any strangers traveling through Stary Yar and aim to keep stories following over a cold beer. We also like to spread our northern hospitality across the land with beer runs to the coast. We don’t take sides, as all coins have two.

The Northern Oasis – The Northern Oasis is a close-knit band of survivors who have built a sanctuary in the harsh world of Chernarus. Founded on loyalty, trust, and respect, they strive to provide safety for their people while doing whatever is necessary to protect what they have built. Walking the line between good and bad, they leave every survivor they encounter to decide whether the Oasis is a beacon of hope or a growing power to be feared.

The Overlook – The Overlook is a standing testament to the Community residing in Chernarus. Many years ago, The Samaritan created the Overlook with a vision to help the people in need. The providers of the Overlook, mainly farmers, hunters, and gatherers help survivors through various donations such as food, clothing, and supplies of all sorts. They value neutrality in politics and aim to limit their involvement in other groups or factions’ businesses.

The Revenants – They are the person you thought you saw, the sound you thought you heard, the manifestation of the feeling you’re being watched. The Revenants are people from all different walks of life, but they have one thing in common. They are all dead to their past selves. Knowledge is what they seek and do not bind themselves to materialistic things.

The Woodsmen – They pride themselves on honor and discipline. They believe that your most valuable asset in this new world is your word and the trust gained from friends and allies. Woodsmen protect and serve the community along the southern coast, specifically from Chernogorsk to the eastern edge of Electro.

The Web – The Web is an underground information network operating across Chernarus and based out of Krona Castle. They trade in information helping those they find worthy or who pay the appropriate price.

Points of Interest

POIs are player-built locations that offer interesting meeting points or areas that are significant in the stories of people. They can be anything from bases that will be defended to open gathering places and trading posts. Some of those are excellent locations if you’re looking for player interactions! Though keep in mind, that everyone is responsible for their own security.

The Guglovo – A base made by the Black Sheep faction on DUG that acts as a stopping point for people moving across the map looking for food or aid.

Castle Blackthorn – A forward outpost used by the Blackthorn Gang.

Gorka – Home of Dark as Midnight. Find any map in the game and it will tell you all you need to know – STAY OUT!

EST Trading Post – A trading hub situated at the North Eastern Airfield. An open market for anyone looking to strike a deal.

Liberty Gardens – Located in the heart of Kamensk, they are an open public space, free to any traveler who can keep their weapons holstered. More than just a food source, they are the civic heart of the FTK, where new citizens take their oath, and serve as a neutral hub for trade and diplomacy.

The Citadel – The Citadel acts as the main base of operations for the Legionary movement. Major political, economic, and military decisions are made here.

ORCC Trade Post – The main trading post/hub for the Outrider Caravan Company.

ORCC Ranch – Some things just aren’t what they appear…except this place. A community farm situated in an area with the least amount of community you could have. A property meant for the detritus that comes with fishing, farming, trapping and nothing else. Report any weapons or contraband found here to ORCC immediately!

Lollipop Tower – Home of The Dark Carnival and some of their hilariously sinister shenanigans.

House of Hope – A community camp nestled atop the hill where the Klyuch ruins lay. The House of Hope prides itself on being a place where people of all alignments can get fed and interact with other survivors.

Hunter’s Lodge – Neutral grounds provided by hunters for hunters to trade, socialize, or simply shelter from the harsh outside world.

The Honest Coin Pub – Situated on the cliffs just south of Stary Yar. The pub which dates back to 1812 welcomes anyone and everyone as long as you leave your quarrels at the door. The pub offers food, alcoholic drinks and a stunning view as well as great banter and local knowledge.

TNO Studios – The Northern Oasis Studios has become the forefront of entertainment in South Zagoria. Spud is a master talk show host, and with the help of executive producer Bill Buckett, they have created a sense of normality in a broken world. Located at the Devil’s Tower, you can tune in to 87.8 and even call in to the show!

Mother’s Embrace – A location of peace and solitude for the Providers. A sacred location where the children of mother visit for solitude and connect with her. Some say it is a direct portal to the source of all.

The Overlook – Located in the southeastern town of Staroye, the Overlook is a compound built around a barn on the hillside next to the main road.

Tristan’s Pond – Named after Provider Tristan of The Overlook who once won a hunting and fishing derby by solely gathering his fish from this pond.

The Bog – Situated north of Zvir The Revenants have found solace in a part of the river that has been backed up by an old dam. Strangers to the area have reported to feel a strong sense of dread and the feeling of being watched when alone there. While supplies, food, and other necessities for survival can be found there and are freely given you could be subjected to questioning and searched. Those who have stopped to fish there have reported seeing faces in the depths but these are merely rumors.

Woodsmen Embassy –  Located under the yellow crane near the southern docks of Prigorodki. At The Embassy you can gather some basic supplies to help you get on your way as well as some up-to-date info on the community and what to look out for on your travels.

Golden Compass Clubhouse – The base of operations for the elusive members of The Golden Compass Hiking Club. Expect hiking supplies from Chernarus’s largest and oldest outing club, and maybe even an encounter with a fellow hiker.

Saint Joseph’s – A church-like refuge made out of a barn in Cernaya Polana. This stopping point in the northeastern part of the map is run by survivors who provide food, supplies, and stories of old to those passing through.

The Helping Hands – A community for survivors to shelter, trade, and socialize. Food, water, and gear is often provided by one of the many Helping Hands available at the eastern barns of Mogilevka.

Waldorf’s Gun Emporium – Be sure not to stay on his lawn for long! Waldorf wants a gun for every man’s hand. This includes you!

The Map-Making Process and How to Be Included

Community members come together to create a new territory map that shows the home turfs and points of interest of some of our groups and factions.

The process is quite simple: a thread is posted in our private member forum where any groups or collectives can claim territory or share their points of interest. The map team then votes on those claims based on requirements such as the number of group members, their in-game and forum activity, and what they add to the community and experience of other players.

Do you want to see your group or point of interest featured on the map? Show something unique, get involved with other players, and join the community if you haven’t yet! Introduce your group through the forum and then later claim your territory in the next iteration.

We want to again thank everyone involved in this community-created map, Integrity (FL Joe) for creating this generation as well as all players who are represented on it and adding more unique aspects to DUG!
